The most important latest statistic across the US is the mortality rate:

0.26%

NOT 2% not 3%

Testing has exploded which means that millions are being tested.

There has been a surge in cases where testing has exploded. We call this tracking herd immunity.

The most important data that are valid is the mortality number but of the PCR positive deaths.

However, CDC has directed states to include probable (non-PCR-Positive) with symptoms as cases and include them in deaths!

Frontline doctors have been banned saying that Hydroxychloroquine is safer than Tylenol and cures COVID especially in outpatient settings and can be successfulYL used for prevention.

Stop listening to FAKE SCIENCE. For prevention take one tablet twice a week is all you need. Take zinc daily. Zinc stops RNA polymerase and is used up to fight infection. Symptoms of low zinc is loss of taste and smell!

The role of vitamin D in the prevention of coronavirus disease 2019 infection and mortality

Petre Cristian Ilie PMID: 32377965

40520_2020_1570_Fig1_HTML.jpg

We have observed a negative correlation between levels of mean vitamin D (average 56.79 nmol/L, STDEV 10.61) and number of cases of COVID-19/1 M population in each country [average 1393.4, STDEV 1129.984, r(20) = − 0.4435; p value = 0.050], and between the mean vitamin D levels and the number of deaths caused by COVID-19/1 M (Fig. 1) [average 80.42, STDEV 94.61, r(20)-value = − 0.4378; p value = 0.05)

The next most important information to keep in mind is the surge of infected are people less than 50 years old.

Despite this statistic of June which, by the way, is also the result of unmasked rioters two weeks before the surge, the prevalence of concentration of passing COVID disease back and forth to care home residents of Nursing Homes and Adult Facilities. This high number is caused by caregivers coming in and going home to crowded housing and poor hygiene rampant in these facilities. (See covid-19 data on ADHS.gov)

What happens with viral infections?  They reach everyone! It is how influenza and SARS-1 became less virulent. The percentage of vaccinated for influenza, for example, has never reached herd immunity numbers (80-95%)!

Now a new hype for a new Swine Flu (H1N1) has been spun, "that doesn't respond to 2019 vaccine."

This is not new news!!! Of course every year the new flu is a mutation from the year before's contagion. The vaccine you get during the flu season is always the one made from last year's flu and never quite irradicates the current flu. The hope is that cross-infectivity will be recognized by your immune system and prevent or decrease flue symptoms for current flu contagion.

40-60% of blood samples from 2016-18 had activated T-cells against other coronaviruses, giving them potential Th1-based immunity against SARS-CoV-2, meaning that they might never produce specific COVID-19 antibodies. https://doi.org/10.1016/j.cell.2020.05.015

COVID-19 ANTIBODY TESTING HELPFUL BUT WILL NOT SET US FREE

Antibody testing for those who were sick this past winter and spring and were negative for influenza and strep probably had COVID.

If their antibody test is negative it is most likely due to the power of their first-line immune system called cellular or humoral immunity. When effective viral or bacterial antigens no longer can trigger the second line, acquired immunity where antibodies are made antibody test results will be negative. The evidence from recent research findings that actually come from vaccine research.

What this means is that at the time you got sick, your immune system was robust enough to rid your body of COVID.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

It is incumbent on you to maintain good health, find your weaknesses and protect and treat yourself. COVID is a droplet and hand-off contagion. Masks can protect others from you if you are shedding COVID but is never a substitute for 6-ft distancing and knowing where your hands are at all times and washing them frequently.

What you can do to maintain your health is to finally discover whether you have deficiencies or conditions which weaken your immune system and make you vulnerable under stress or if exposed to a load of the COVID virus.

  1. You should test for active COVID if you find out someone you were around tested positive or gets sick.
  2. You should get a baseline EKG so that if you do get COVID you can safely take treatment drugs that have the potential to alter the QT segment.
  3. You should screen every new cardiac and neurological symptom, especially if you are otherwise healthy.

I can evaluate my patients, test them, and interpret the findings of the Antibody Test provided from a serum blood draw or a throat swab to test for the actual presence of the virus. Your sample is tested by Sonora Quest laboratory and is free. A small administrative and processing fee applies.

I am now charging for the health screening by a Telemedicine consultation prior to doing your test. Some people who become my patients want to take advantage of functional medicine and genetic SNP analysis. Contact me for more information.

As a primary care physician, my practice follows strict hygiene practices to reduce the possibility of transmission of infection. Touchless temperature readings are done before entering the office. Consults are done virtually when possible. Close contact is done gloved and wearing the n95 mask. Patients will wear cloth masks.

As of April 24, Sonora Quest Laboratories is able to test the antibodies against Covid-19 in your blood. They provide a 24-48-hour turn around time for results. This is of the utmost importance because many more people are found to be asymptomatic. Personal swab test kits for the virus are available with a doctor's prescription from http://pixel.labcorp.com

New Symptoms and Danger of Delay to Get Urgent Care

Reports out of Columbia University Medical Center, Mount Sinai Health System in New York, Dr. Thomas Oxley set to be published in the New England Journal of Medicine paper, on his findings of COVID-19 cases of stroke and large vessel clots in people under 55 and as young as 33.

Shockingly, the elderly and some young adults are presenting symptoms of change or loss of taste or smell, confusion, slurred speech, limb weakness, fatigue, purple or red toes, that are unusual to them. Conditions such as Guilliane Bairre and Trigeminal Neuralgia have been seen in younger people. There have also been fatalities among young people as well as high-risk older adults.

Because people have been afraid of exposure to Covid-19 have been delaying seeking urgent care. It is absolutely essential if you experience any of these symptoms you should call your doctor, go to urgent care, or call 911.

The Washington Post and every major US news station have been reporting on this. Apparently research in China supports this claim.

Making a Comeback

Everybody wants to get back to normal. Let’s tap into human ingenuity to adapt. Here are some insights into the new normal.

Learning how to cope with Covid-19 to reclaim our lives.

Prepare the Workplace:

Screen clients for symptoms and recent contact with the sick. Use screens, protective glasses, and masks for close-up interactions.

Sanitize surfaces before and after client interactions.

Limit time with clients to essential interactions.

Use virtual platforms for extended business interactions.

Don’t Get Sick:

Careful hygiene using barriers touching public surfaces. Frequent meticulous handwashing and hand sanitizers. See handwashing picture below.

Manage your blood pressure, blood sugar, pain medications.

Supplement with Vitamin A and D and Vitamin C and multi-minerals including zinc sulfate.

Eat balanced properly cooked meals on a regular schedule.

Get plenty of sunlight, fresh air and get to bed on time.

Walk up to 30 minutes per day, alternate with 10 min of aerobics. 20 min weight-bearing exercises.

Wear disposable gloves when touching surfaces at the store or workplace.

Limit computer screen time. Turn off cell phones, cover routers with aluminum foil during sleep time.

Keep busy, between working from home, children’s homework, home picnics, cooking together, house cleaning chores, learning something new, virtual social time. Minimize watching the news.

Watch the sunset and the moon.

Volunteer in your community to help with shopping and drugstore runs for the vulnerable.

NOTE: Anyone with a weakened immune system, uncontrolled diabetes, hypertension, or has HIV, or elderly should wear an n95 mask when exposed to people outside and maintain 6-foot distancing at all times.

Don’t get anyone else sick:

Wipe home surfaces clean after use.

Wear a mask and keep your distance when out in public.

Talk to your doctor about when to test and get therapies including Hydroxychloroqine with high-dose zinc.

At day 6 post-inclusion, 100% of patients treated with hydroxychloroquine and azithromycin combination were virologicaly cured comparing with 57.1% in patients treated with hydroxychloroquine only, and 12.5% in the control group (p<0.001). …Of note, one patient who was still PCR-positive at day6-post inclusion under hydroxychloroquine treatment only, received azithromycin in addition to hydroxychloroquine at day8-post inclusion and cured her infection at day-9 post infection. In contrast, one of the patients under hydroxychloroquine and azithromycin combination who tested negative at day6 post-inclusion was tested positive at low titer at day8 post-inclusion. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7102549/

Self-isolate and wear a mask at home around other household members when you have cold symptoms or fever.

Get vitamin D from the sun for 10-20 min avoid burning by starting with morning rays or supplement at least 2000iu per day

Corona Virus Help

I do sports medicine in a family practice helping people be pain-free and heal faster using their own cells. Educating about lifestyle and exercise is emphasized along with customizing nutrition for optimal health.

I have seen diets come and go and designer IV nutrition therapies become commodities sold for the best price by treatment centers. As a physician interested in the welfare of my patients, the direction of my work has been to address the unique needs of every individual and to educate. Their care involves the knowledge and experience of over 40 years in medicine, personalizing their nutrition and wellness approaches and customizing herbs, supplements and IV nutrient therapy.

PRP is a proven treatment using platelets from your blood to stimulate healing from injuries and inflammation. However, because this traditional treatment can have a painful recovery from 2 weeks to 6 months, I found it unacceptable for my patients. In my office, I use the purest platelet concentration from your blood. You can be assured that I never cut corners and I use only the most state-of-the-art, evidence-based procedure, using Emcyte PurePRPII kits and centrifuge, to obtain a pure concentrated extract from your blood, leaving the inflammatory cells in your blood behind. I never use the yellow-top tubes containing endotoxins to obtain your plasma for centrifuging. The process is filtered and double centrifuged to obtain the purest, most concentrated sampling of platelets and growth factors from your own blood.

For the last 20 years, as a naturopathic physician, my passion has been helping clients achieve:

Over the last 20 years using evidence-based traditional and conventional methods, I have now refined treatments for tendonitis and muscle/tendon tears using ultrasound with PurePRP and Stem Cells.  Documenting platelet concentrations and ultrasound images is necessary to determine outcomes.

Stem Cells are medicinal signaling mesenchymal cells harvested from your own fat or bone marrow. When there is significant tissue injury, implanting your own body’s stem cells are needed to stimulate natural tissue growth and remodeling.

Stem cell therapies have received wide journalistic reviews. Sham studies have covered up the truth about live cell delivery from Wharton's Jelly. Other studies refuting the efficacy of PRP have incorporated antiquated platelet processing. Emcyte PRP has substantial safety and efficacy studies.

The widespread use of inappropriate direct-to-consumer marketing of unproven cellular therapies has recently led to increased scrutiny from the US FDA. New guidelines have been published by the FDA that are aimed at curtailing the inappropriate marketing and use of “regenerative medicine” approaches in the United States, including cell-based therapies and blood-based derivatives such as PRP. Unsubstantiated claims of efficacy, as well as the use of cell and blood processing techniques that go beyond the “minimal manipulation” allowed by the FDA, have led to official warning letters and even closure of some “stem cell” and “regenerative medicine” centers. At the same time, these new FDA regulations will also help accelerate the approval pathway for legitimate therapies after appropriate clinical trials.

However, conventional therapies, although they provide temporary pain relief, treatments like steroid injections, NSAIDs and arthroscopic surgery may slow the healing process, and often have prolonged downtime which requires extensive physical therapy.

Here is what the 2019-2020 NFL Physicians Society of Orthobiologists say about cell-based therapies:

"Orthobiologic treatments, such as PRP and “stem cells”, offer promise for pain relief and potentially improved healing of certain conditions affecting tendons, ligaments, and joints.

Recognizing that many athletes can gain relief with these generally safe therapies, we aim to use these treatments in the appropriate clinical situations. To further this effort, we aim to carefully track the outcomes of treatment with various agents. We believe that responsible use of regenerative medicine treatments is the best way to both provide cutting-edge care for our athlete-patients and to also contribute to the knowledge base in order to advance this rapidly developing field."

Recent advances, backed by research, now allow for the new form of PRP, Emcyte Purified Concentrated Platelets, to reduce painful downtime to 1-2 days. The use of high-resolution musculoskeletal ultrasound guidance provides the precision of implantation of cell-based therapies. An in-office Mindray Hematology Analyzer documents the high platelet concentration used.

Strategic exercises allow continued function or training while the body heals.

I find these measures absolutely necessary for my patients who compete athletically or have active lifestyles.

Know this, pain is a normal signal the body telling you that something isn’t being done right, something is missing that you need to do in order to normalize things again. You’ve dropped below an acceptable standard of level of activity that is not meeting a need for some muscle in a specific way.

For some muscle there is too much strengthening, in another, there is not enough. Often there is a left-to-right, front-to-back or upper-to-lower structure that is no longer stable and is now impinging on a nerve, blood, or nutrient supply compounding the problem causing arthritis or degeneration of the part that may be related or near the identified pain. It is important to remember pain is not necessarily a sign of permanent damage. Personalized strategic muscle strengthening identifies and teaches you what muscle groups they are and what you can do to fix it.

Precision Nutrition is fine-tuning the healthy eating you already know how to do. When you are working on your health for injury repair or arthritis or in training, every meal counts. Even a high-fat diet has risks. See my blog click here. To determine the best combinations of foods, supplements, herbs, stress management and exercise routines for you, I use Epigenetic Analysis of your SNPs and Functional Medicine, reviewing your chemistry, CBC and organic acid lab results against the optimal normal range to trend tendencies for risk factors like vascular disease, diabetes, gout, cancer and more.

Traditional Chinese Medicine, acupuncture, microcurrent therapy and herbal formulas reduce swelling and accelerate body healing. Occasionally bracing, taping or load reducing walking sticks may be necessary if there is significant tears or arthritis.

Hormone intervention and IV Nutrition personalized based on clinical findings to help you recover from competitive training, deficiencies due to leaky gut, poor diet or excesses, antibiotic and drug therapy, addiction.

Consider your intervention at Carefree ReGen Medical as a holistic approach with three integrated stages, Relief, Corrective and Wellness.
